Experience Menorca’s stunning and diverse coastline by boat; the perfect family day out. There are varying options and experiences to suit all.

Menorca is the perfect place to sail and ride the beautiful Mediterranean waves with it’s crystal waters and varying coastline. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor there is something for everyone.

The ideal place to learn to sail is in the safety of Fornells bay or Mahon Harbour. They are both big enough for a constant light wind, but sheltered from the open sea.

Boat Hire & Boat Excursions

The most economical family option is to take an organised group boat tour which often do half day excursions, with snorkels and paddle boards available for use, along with refreshments and services onboard. A great option if you have little ones.

Then there’s the small boats of about 4m that are availabe for 4-5 people, to hire without a licence. Varying from a couple of hours to all day hire. This option give you freedom access to Menorca’s secret coves.

Finally for those with qualifications, there are many companies which offer the traditional Menorcan Llaut, Yachts or high speed Powerboats. However, if you’re feeling of a lazy disposition, simply rent a boat for the day with a skipper and let someone else do the hard work, whilst you layback, enjoy the scenery and soak up the sun!
